3/18/2023 0 Comments Bombardier cjr 200![]() ![]() Even the panel sectioning is organized and clean – there aren’t too many places where it looks like swiss cheese all patched together. Everything just flows together nicely, all elements (fuselage, wing, vertical stabilizer, etc) perfectly balanced. Perhaps it’s because my last template was a less-advanced aircraft designed in the 1960’s, but I really like the forms of this little jet. I’d be a happy guy if I never have to step foot in one of these things ever again!ĭrawing the CRJ-200 made me appreciate it’s design even more. I quickly came to realize how cramped and small they are on the inside, and it didn’t take long before I was avoiding them like the plague. The fact that it looks just like a sleek private jet is what I like the most, and I went out of my way to fly on these things as much as possible back in the late 90’s when they were first introduced. On the other hand, I personally think it’s one of the best looking commercial airplanes in the sky at the moment. The CRJ-100’s improved and more popular successor, the CRJ-200, introduced turbofan engines, which increased range by around 40. On one hand, they are extremely cramped and uncomfortable, and I hate flying on them even more than the EMB-120. Derived from the Canadair Challenger 600 in 1999, the Bombardier CRJ-200 was designed as a short-haul regional transport. ![]() The aircraft is equipped with high-efficiency. I’ve got a love/hate thing going on with the CRJ-200. The design of the CRJ200, which evolved from the Challenger 604 business jet, is for regional airline operations. But I’m staying on track with my goal of creating templates for as many commercial aircraft as I can, and this Bombardier Canadair Regional Jet 200 is the next airplane in that series of illustrations. The length of the runway must be at least 1.77 km. This design can speed up to 860 km/h and up to 786 km/h in economy mode. Despite its small length - only 26.77 meters, the aircraft can accommodate up to 50 passengers. These aircraft would be initially delivered to Express Airlines I and deployed from the Memphis hub. Of course it’s fun, but it can be downright tedious at times and it’s hard to stay focused when I’d much rather be doing more creative work instead. The CRJ-200 is an improved version of the CRJ-100, which differs from it by more efficient General Electric CF34-3B1 engines. NWA joined the Bombardier advisory council (which would later contribute to the specifications for its CS100 now Airbus A220 project) and placed a then-record 1.3 billion order in February 1999 for 54 CRJ-200LRs. Finding the time (and energy) to create these side view airliner templates isn’t easy. ![]()
